I've made a little world but most detailed is the Kingdom of Katar. Looking to run a very adventuring groups in this kingdom. I've got alot of good ideas and setting information. So if your interested let me know.

Game Creation:
Human mostly
(will allow one of each of the following- Halfing, Gnome, Elf, Dwarf)
Level: 1
Gold starting 200gp
Stats..32 points

There are two advents I plan to run first off:

Prunedale: A small thorp where local citizens begin a adventuring career...

The Red Claw: A band of adventurers sent out to gather intel on a dangerous group of terrorists in the North.

Alright. I know I was vague with the setting information. I've got alot of stuff written up. I simply need to get it on here. But till then...

1. Pelor is worshipped in Katar as "The Most High" god of gods.
2 90% of the population is human of three races;

Bip (think middle eastern): Renown for their skills in magic and making deals. These people primarily live in the Lands of Fion held by Duke Fion. (more infor on that later) perks: +2 appraise, +2 Know (arcana)

Carreans (Dark haired Germans): The indiginouis people of the land. Once worshiped their own gods But they are now and have been for the last 200 years members of Katar. +2 knowledge Nature, +2 Survival

Fiddish (English): The dominant race of man in the country. They are the dominating force in the land. +2 Know (religion), +2 Craft OR profession

Other Playable Races:

Elves: The Elves are small in number all hail from a area called the Sacred Groove. They earned the right to this prime land after helping the Original High King Katar Highborn in conquering this land. +2 Knowledge nature, +2 knowledge History

Dwarfs: Circling the nation of Katar to the West-North-East is the Kingdom of the Dwarfs. They live in the high mountains plying their labors. They have a non-aggression treaty with Katar and are active trade partners.. +2 Crafts, +2 Survival

There are gnomes and halflings but they are non-playable. There is alot more information but i'll post it whenever I get the chance

I want the Prunedale game made first. Most of the people will be from a small thorp where Plums are farmed. But you can be a traveler coming into town as well. More information to come!

Some more information on Katar...there will be more once a forum thread is made.

The Kingdom is split into six provinces. Five are ruled by Dukes while the last is under the direct purview of the Highking. They are as follows:

The Bjords rule over the High Steppes. The original tribe that submitted itself to Katar in his conquest and assisted him greatly in his war. Their King was given the position of Duke in the new Kingdom and his line has survived for nearly 200 years. The High Steppes is a mountainous forested province...the smallest in the country. It is also the poorest only in the last fifty years successfully undertaking agriculture and trades to earn coin.

The Purelands lies directly south of the High Steppes and is dominated by fertile hills. It's people are ruled by Duke Pureblood and this is where the Kingdom is feed. They are influential, rich and devote to the Palor beliefs. They are also in the habit of looking down on the indigenous barbarians tribes as lowly and stupid. The people of this land tend to be of light skin and dark hair.

The Lands of Fion are run by the Fion Family. A dark skinned people they joined the Pelor movement in Darth and traveled with Katar to the Valley of Blood and helped in his conquest. They are devote to their own gods while giving Pelor a elevated position. They are crafty wizards and merchants. They have a strong cultural heritage and still use their own language. The Lands of Fion are notoriously hilly and wild but their cities are magnificent and built in their native fashion.

The Heartlands lay in a wedge between the hills of the Purelands and the Lands of Fion. It is here that the Lionhearts rule. The land is grassy and good for farming...but the people here are of warriors stock and generally are in the service of their own Duke, the Highking, or the church. They generally have a strong loyalty to their province and Duke. They often travel about the kingdom and beyond adventuring.

The Du'monts rule over the Lands of the Great Mount. Dug into the southern mountain range that rings the Valley that makes up Katar they are a industrial and hardworking people..tan and short. They are the original brokers of the deal with the dwarfs as they both share a love for mining and metal working. The Du'monts are heavily influenced from their dwarven interactions and many look on with distrust at this development.

Directly in the heart of the Kingdom lies the Capital province. It is here where the Church and the Highking rule without a Duke. The heart of the Church and Nobility begins here. The council of Dukes meet here once or twice a year..and where the revenues and taxes roll in.
----------------------------------------
Thorp of Prunedale
Prunedale is a small thorp only thirty years old with a population of seventy-five. Settled by the farming family the Botwens they found great success in their plum/prune trade that they stopped doing the labor and hired others from this success the thorp of Prunedale grew. Located in a rural area of the Purelands they see little in the way of visitors. The Botwens and their hired swords transporting the valuable plumes to market in large towns. The place has known no outward violence. The occasional murder or monster incursion. But nothing out of the ordinary. The Botwens run the place holding both the Mayor and Sheriff position of the thorp.
Prunedale is located in rural region of the Purelands, just south of the boarder with the High Steppes.

Major: Shawn Botwen
Sheriff: Logan Botwen

ajor languages of Katar:
Elven, Dwarf, Halfling, Gnome, Goblin, Giant, Common, Infernal, Fionian, Carrean, Hightongue (languge of nobility and priests) (*Note: There are of course more languages..but they are limited in their popularity)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gods:
Gnomes, Elves, Halflings and Dwarfs follow the Dwarven Patheon of Forgotten Realms.
Fionions worship the core dieties from the Players Handbook...with Pelor being the "Most High"
Carreans worship Pelor explusively with a few pockets of old worship occuring. Those small pockets worship strange entities and deites not well recorded by outsiders. (They burn heretics in this country)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Races of Katar:
Humans:
Bip (derogatory "Bips"): A culturally aware people. They cling to their culture building towers like the sultans of old and worshipping their own gods in respect; with Pelor as their Most High of course. Renowned wizards and merchants. They tend to have dark tanned skin, black hair and be slight of stature.

Correans ("Mongrels"): Muscular, dark haired tan people. They are the indiginious people of this land. Skilled warriors they often still fight amongst themselves in "mini-wars." To insure they keep their fighting abilities up.

Fiddish ("Fids"): The dominent race of men in this country they are generally pale skinned and favor many hair colors. They are of average size.

Dwarfs ("Half-men"), Badgers ("Gophers"), Halflings (Lots of things), Elves ("Pixies")

Im interested..Thinking human (not sure what kind yet) monk, specializing in Nunchaku (if you allow it with vow of poverty, otherwise quarterstaff). Taking sacred vow, vow of poverty, and Servant of the Heavens from Book of exalted deeds if you allow that book.

would be a traveller who happened upon the town in its time of need, wearing only his robe, his rope belt (with two nunchaku tucked in), and sandals, attempting to share the good word of Pelor.

Lost sounds perfect. I'll accept all those things.

So far the party will be:

Elf Ranger
Human Druid
Human Monk

I got a few more people i'm waiting to hear from and others who showed interest then never talked to me again. If I get more then four i'll just put them into the other adventurer I worked out. So the two can go on at the same time and perhaps meet in a epic ending to the Campaign. Smile
