What would be awesome is if there was a separate die roller that displayed its results in a separate, non-editable, box that would be posted along with your text post. RoleplayMarket has one and I believe dndonlinegames.com has one too. _________________ "I find your lack of faith disturbing." --Darth Cleric

Well hm...I think we should keep the KoM die roller as it is just for people who want to roll for fun (without saving it to some noneditable textbox).
And then an additional die roller that goes to a noneditable text box and is automatically added to your next post. Another thing would be saved macros of rolls that are used often so all you would have to do is click the macro instead of having to remember what dice, how many, what modifiers etc.
You should really take a look at the one they have at roleplaymarket. It embodies all of what I said should be in a die roller. _________________ "I find your lack of faith disturbing." --Darth Cleric

It really wouldn't be too hard to do all that. However, unless the roll is stored outside of the page, all one would have to do is do a page refresh to get another roll. The results would have to be stored outside of the page.
An Ajax method would work great for this. _________________ I am the best |

Yup yup, the only real problem I can see with AJAX is some of the browser issues. And, we still have people that can not view clear PNGs. Not that browser issues are a certain result ... It all depends on the code in the end.
But yeah, I'm open to all suggestions. My only real concern is keeping the general package open to the full array of browsers. |
